I'm logged in, I click the blue Register button. It takes me to that error page, which has a javascript refresh that takes me to the index page. And I'm registered, as I get the confirmation email. The button now says Un-Register, and clicking it takes me to the error page, which refreshes. And I get a confirmation email confirming I've been deleted. etc
