change the template to return just the comma seperated list, then you can
do anything you like with it. i.e. loop through the list

<cfloop index="item" list="#whatever#">
<li>#item#
</cfloop>

Hi

If I use a cfinclude or cfmodule is there a way of catching the output as a
string before it is put onto the page?

Basically I have a template that outputs some text onto the page, on one
page it is a bulleted list but on another page I want it as a comma
separated list. If I can catch the generated content as a string I can
replace <li> with commas. This will be easier than altering the template so
it can produce two different outputs.

Thanks

Giles
