'Tis alright. Spent about 5 minutes talking to one of the support guys
just working out what their system did and then it was easy. Their guide
just makes a complete hash of explaining it, much like the paypal and
splashplastic guides Ive recently had to go through.
All sorted now! Thanks everyone for your help :)
Just as something for the archive. method worldpay use is:
Send form off to the worldpay server.
User inputs credit card details for transaction.
<if> callback is enabled
wp servers send details to the callback script you've specified
and also take all html output from the callback page to display. <if>
callback not enabled or cant access script, transaction still goes
through but wp display resultC or resultY page from their servers (you
can customise these or upload your own.
Easy peasy.
