Well it seems (on my first tests) that as long as your queries are in a
transaction all the queries can access the temp table. Global tables can be
access by other transactions, there may be clean up differences too. (local
tables are dropped automatically when the fall out of scope ) , however I'm
not sure how this works in a pooled connection environment.

Not really a problem, I was on new ground, so I was seeing if anyone has
come across any issues I needed to be aware of.
Maybe I'm that first!!! Actually Better check this stuff out with the JDBC
datascources
