OOps, better not rename the folder, but if you do, find the file global_vars.cfm and change your cfdocs to say
request.app.root = "/cfdocsmx/exampleapps"; otherwise #request.app.root# used throughout won't find/display your images rgds Colm Colm Brazel MA CB Publications www.cbweb.net <http://www.cbweb.net> [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -----Original Message----- From: Colm Brazel [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 15 October 2002 19:04 To: Dev@Lists. Cfdeveloper. Co. Uk Subject: FW: [ cf-dev ] MX help files for studio Just noticed that one of the subfolders exampleapps does not get installed or is not accessible using the method below, at least on my system here. Workaround or another approach is to copy the MX cfdocs in MX say renaming them mx_cfdocs and paste into your webroot and make that folder a project in Studio. rgds Colm Colm Brazel MA CB Publications www.cbweb.net <http://www.cbweb.net> [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -----Original Message----- From: Colm Brazel [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 12 October 2002 19:30 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [ cf-dev ] MX help files for studio Giles, Copy all of cfdocs in MX under its root to C:\Program Files\Macromedia\ColdFusion Studio 5\Help and the help files come up. Neil robertson sent this url to the list a good while ago for the vtm updater as well, http://www.macromedia.com/software/coldfusionstudio/productinfo/resources/ta g_updaters/ List could do with a place to bookmark stuff like this useful to everyone or maybe its there somewhere already and I just don't know about it:-) regards Colm Colm Brazel MA CB Publications www.cbweb.net <http://www.cbweb.net> [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -----Original Message----- From: Giles Roadnight [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 12 October 2002 12:46 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [ cf-dev ] MX help files for studio In CF5 there was a file you could get from the administrator to update tags in studio, is there a similar thing for MX - particularly as deamweaver has virtually no help for CF at all.
