If you wanted to create an Index, based on content from a few different
tables (or even just one table), how'd you go about doing it? Ideally this
would be an automated process rather than having to be user-inputted.

Is it possible to extract information from Verity's indexes it creates and
use that? I'm meaning the files in the
Verity\Collections\#CollectionName#\ folders.

Any other alternative methods this could be done? Perhaps have the user
define the Index of words at the outset, then use CF to find which
items/pages/whatever match those words and store the details in a table?

What I'm hoping for, something like:

INDEX

Bar
     About Bar
     Articles: BarBar
     Latest News 2

Foo
     About Foo
     Latest News 1

Fubar
     About Bar
     About Foo
     Articles: Fubar and friends

With each item a link to the relevant page obviously.

TIA for suggestions or simpler ideas.
