Hey Giles....., there is no update 'as of yet', it will be released at the
same time as Contribute (DWMX 6.1). I did see problems like this during
the beta cycle, but I think thought they were nailed.

What kind of testing have you done on this...? Have you, for instance,
created a .cfm in DWMX and saved it off then for another DWMX developer to
edit that file OK?

Then try and do the same but get the Wordpad/Notepad geezer to open the
newly created file and edit it before a DWMX user re-opens it.... that way
you will see if its DWMX or Notepad which is arsing it up.

I have looked in the bug logs and I cant see anyone else has logged this.

Neil

I have had some weird problems like that with DWMX. The most annoying
problem though is that sometimes when I double click to open a file DW
just gives up and closes - losing any unsaved work. CF 5 opens the file
fine though.

I looked in help about and it just said 6.0, no build number. Are there
updates?

Hi,

We've got a weird problem here with DWMX. We've got 2 developers using
DWMX, 1 using textpad (weirdo) and myself using CF Studio 5. We're also
using VSS.

When either of the developers using DWMX look at certain .cfm files
they're only seeing the first half dozen or so lines, but when I or the
textpad user looks at them we see the complete file. Obviously this is a
problem as the DWMX users then save the file and lose most of the work
done on that file - so we're using VSS to rollback lots of files!

Anyone come across this before?

Thanks

Ben
