Doesn't seem to be. I noticed the status bar wasn't displayed
(apparently the default, guess to tie in with XP) so displayed it but
with the marquee tool selected, the current cursor coordinates still
didn't appear.

In the properties panel, you get the width and height and x and y of a
selection (if you make one), but no x-y from the top left of the image.
