This is wierd one... I have some text in a file (ColdFusion 4/5) which is in raw German (i.e. using all the correct charsets etc)... but when its read into a page, it seems to be distorted.... could it be CF which is distorting it?
I have added a <META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> in the head as well just to make sure.
