Aidan, It is not there in the services list. That is worrying. Any ideas how I can get it back or how it could have gone missing?

Is you do Start, Run, services.msc, is CF Executive listed as one of the services there? (can't exactly remember the setup pre-MX). If so, double-click it and specify that the startup is Automatic (the other CF services should also be automatic). Then, click Start and OK to save the changes. -- Aidan Whitehall <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Macromedia ColdFusion Developer Fairbanks Environmental +44 (0)1695 51775 ________________________________________________________________________ This e-mail has been scanned for all viruses by Star Internet.
