Because when u submit the form the page is timing out. You need to
increase your timeouts or find out why the server is responding slowly.
The page will timeout if the sql server cannot be connected to, so make
sure the connectiona nd login details are coirrect as it tried to verify
first.

Subject: [ cf-dev ] CF5 ODBC DataSources

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a SQL Server ODBC DataSource in CF5, but everytime
I try and save the datasource, CF Administrator comes up with an error
message:

Error Occurred While Processing Request
Error Diagnostic Information The time taken to process your request has
exceeded the allowable limit of 30 seconds. Please notify the server
administrator (using the mail link below) that this error has occurred.
Note: You can override the request time limit by adding a
'RequestTimeout' parameter to the URL used to request the page (e.g.
page.cfm?RequestTimeout=500). Date/Time: 11/27/02 16:25:48 Browser:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows NT; DigExt) Remote Address:
150.17.17.74 HTTP Referrer:
http://coldfusion_test/cfide/administrator/datasources/editdsinfo.cfm
Query
String: VerifyList=INFO%5Flive&CFID=24237&CFTOKEN=20218729

Any ideas why I can't create it? When I add the datasource I'm using
Microsoft SQL Server from the drop-down list. The SQL Server version is
SQLServer2000. The datasources I have on SQL7 are okay. Any ideas?

Thanks
