Tim,
I just had a quick go at doing a little bit of testing on a site I have
on my dev machine (my laptop) with the 2 jvms I have.
With JVM 1.4.1_01 some of the pages run around 10-20% faster than the
previous 1.3.1 which is what comes with CFMX (all you have to do is go
to the CF Admin and change the path to the JRE directory from
{CFUSIONMX_INSTALL}\runtime\jre to {JAVA_INSTALL}\jre and it works).
This is quite an improvement in speed, but there is no counting for
stability and other things like that so don't take it as read that this
is going to be the case across the board...
I stress that THIS IS NOT SCIENTIFIC AND IS NOT VERY ACCURATE, but I
definitely notice a speed improvement.
