If I remember correctly, the documentation stated that this was because the configuration domain controller server is not very good for running server applications. Your domain controller is an important piece of the network, with every extra piece of software you have running on it, the less stable it will become. I'd say, follow the recommendation and don't install it on that machine. Besides, CFMX will be much happier on its own server.
