Are you using IIS? IF you are there is a bug with remoting on IIS and
multiHoned sites. You have to install the CFMX updater to enable the
gateway on all sites - without the patch it will only work on the
default site.

It could be a lot of other things though - it depends how the client has
the movie set up. IF they are accessing the movie from within a movie
then the movie should automatically look at the same domain as the movie
is loaded from although I think that there are ways to break it.

If this doesn't help I can try and find the macromedia help page about
this.

Subject: [ cf-dev ] Flash remoting

Got this form a client, not done owt with flash, can anyone enlighten me
.?

I'm trying to get Flash Remoting to work on your CFMX server, but I am
having a problem with the DefaultGatewayUrl (note: I have successfully
managed to get Flash Remoting to work on my local installation). The
installation default is http://localhost:8500/flashservices/gateway.
Being on a shared server I don't think I'd have access to that directory
from my domain. Is the gateway installed somewhere else that I might
have access to?
