well, you're talking about date formatting according to the date on the
client, not the server.

2 options, 1) store the user's datesetting (ie GMT -5hrs) somewhere (cookie,
db etc) and format accordingly on the serverside or 2) Use Javascript/Flash
etc to detect the time and date on the user's machine and format
accordingly.
