Oh, it would be nice to know about it if there is a work around... I had this problem and the only way round it (in the time I had to fix it) was not using the pluginspage attribute, but using some JS to check... the flash wasn't mission critical, so it was just replaced with a flat version if the JS check failed the flash plugin...
