Hi all I solved all the problems with at.exe!
When using the "/NEXT:n" option, internally it stores the month and year too based on the current date, but when you run "at" again it just tells you "NEXT:1". I was then setting the date back to the 1st day of January, same year. But of course, that won't work because it has remembered the time to run should be 1st March!!! So, tip of the day: set the clock (date/time) to before the event BEFORE you actually schedule the event. This tip is worth ?1,200 of my time spent *&^*&^* (senseless ranting starts here). Just thought you'd like to know. - Peter H. -----Original Message----- From: Peter Harrison [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 21 February 2003 17:32 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [ cf-dev ] WOT - at.exe, Task Scheduler, items not firing... Yeah, that's exactly where I remember it from. Can you believe it's been that long ago since I needed to use it? :) - Peter -----Original Message----- From: Christopher Chaduka [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 21 February 2003 14:53 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [ cf-dev ] WOT - at.exe, Task Scheduler, items not firing... LOL Pete, U growing old? You taught me that cmd.exe trick 2 years ago in that lil server room of ours, remember.
