Umm, I've never used named locks, but thought you would have to have
done it like this:

I have done it as outlined below, sorry, I seem to be losing the ability to explain myself - time for some air.





<CFLOCK name="fileupload" timeout="30">
   first call
</cflock>

<CFLOCK name="fileupload" timeout="30">
   second call
</CFLOCK>

where it was the same name in both locks that prevented the second from
running before the first was finished.
