I thought the problem was that to use PGP commercially you had to buy a commercial licence from whoever it is that now owns it. I understood that under the licensee none of the free ware versions of PGP can be used commercially?
Can someone pass an opinion on exactly what you can do with what version both of this tag and of PGP.
The last time this came up on another list it appeared clear that to use PGP commercially the licence at that time was around $17,000.00 .
The Digital Outlook site is not helpful in this regard.
I always presumed that Nominet had purchased a commercial licence but perhaps I have totally misunderstood the situation.
Does anyone have a clear understanding?
