I should have read the original post...  just got back from a long weekend.
hope this hasn't confused anything.  The summary as I remember, only allows
a certain amount of text anyway, so it getting cut off is what you might
expect...  I had the very same problem with "half" html tags appearing, and
the way I fixed it was through the fake query.  It was quick, very quick to
index.
