Yep, Worldpay have got my backing too; actually got their confirmation to
trade this very morning.

  My only complaint is that they need to be reminded at every stage the ball
is in 'their court', not a bad service mind, just busy I guess, but happy to
prioritise you with a little push.

I concur, used Worldpay (albeit a couple of years ago) and it was easy and
(as much as these things ever are) pain free.
The best I can say is that our clients never complained about it ;)

there is also Secure Trading  - you might want to consider them ...  last
people I worked with was World Pay, and they seemed oK.

Just doing a comparison between PayPal, Protx and WorldPay after those
recommendations yesterday.

Am I right in thinking that PayPal doesn't allow you to credit a
business bank account directly with funds and that instead you have to
give them the details of a credit card and they transfer funds from
whatever's accumulated in your PayPal account to that card?

The client doesn't have a business CC and don't think they want to have
to get one, just to use PayPal. If so, it's one less PSP to consider.
