Got a site with an Access database, CF 4.5. Intermittently, some pages will take a long time to do any queries on the page. It's a site in development so it's not exactly getting many hits. Other times all the queries run in the sort of time you'd expect. When it's slow, it's taking around 1 - 5 seconds per query. When it's normal, it's more like 10 - 30 milliseconds.
Queries are fairly simple stuff, e.g. SELECT ID, Name From Table Order by Name, taking upwards of 2 seconds! All the tables are very small, just a handful of rows in each. As it's intermittent I haven't figured out if it's particular queries, tables or pages, but I'm pretty sure it's happening on all the tables, on any page. why would this be, and how can it be fixed?
