Morning... With the maxrows="x" argument of cfquery, does the number of retruned rows get limited when the query goes ahead (e.g. for MySQL a LIMIT x is stuck on the end of the exectured statement) or does the whole query run and then CF truncates the query length?
Just wondering cos we're supporting some code from someone else (grumble grumble) and they've got a table with about 40,000 records in it and are selecting 50 at a time using maxrows="50" -- the query seems to be taking a long time so I'm guessing every time it's called all 40,000 records are being returned...
