Thanks for that. I had missed it in the docs.

Subject: [ cf-dev ] CFChart vs CFGraph

Hi,

I have been using CFGraph to generate a PIE chart on the fly from a query
and we are about to move to MX and I am trying to get the CFChart tag to
look nice. I have a cfgraph which looks quite nice - the colours of each
slice are not harsh. The CFChart version creates really bright, harsh
colours. Is there a way to control this?

My CFChart tag looks like this:

<cfchart
format = "flash"
chartHeight = "350"
chartWidth = "500"
dataBackgroundColor = "##8A84B3"
BackgroundColor = "##8A84B3"
showBorder = "no"
font = "Arial"
fontSize = "15"
fontBold = "no"
fontItalic = "no"
labelFormat = "number"
show3D = "yes"
showLegend = "yes"
tipStyle = "MouseOver"
tipBGColor = "##FFFFFF"
showMarkers = "no"
markerSize = "0"
pieslicestyle="solid">
<cfchartseries
type="pie"
query="getMetrics"
itemColumn="displayname"
valueColumn="pageCount">
<cfchartdata item="Total Pages (#variables.totalPages#)" value="0">
</cfchartseries>
</cfchart>

Have I missed something out or is CFChart not as good as CFGraph. My
CFGraph tag is below:

<cfgraph type="PIE" query="getMetrics" valuecolumn="pageCount"
itemcolumn="displayname" showvaluelabel="Rollover" valuelabelfont="Arial"
valuelabelsize="15" valuelocation="OUTSIDE" title="Total Pages by Site
Area" titlefont="Arial" showlegend="right" legendfont="Arial"
fileformat="Flash" graphheight="400" graphwidth="400" borderwidth="0"
backgroundcolor="##8A84B3" depth="5"><cfgraphdata item="Total Pages
(#variables.totalPages#)" value="0" color="##8A84B3">

Cheers

Dave
