We've been successfully displaying MS Word .doc documents inside the browser for a while now, using CFCONTENT/CFHEADER. Basically, I just FTP them from the document server to CF and then display them. However, we're now being asked to show Word documents that have been password protected. We're being provided with the password, but I have no idea how to use this. I was told it was a command line option, but I can't see anything in the Help documentation in Word that allows this. Has anyone else done anything like this? Would I have to load Word in the CF server, somehow pass it the password, save the document back out without a password, and then pass it to the browser? Any pointers on this would be very useful! Karl.
