Ah
If you have enterprise manager at home you should be able to connect to
your work sql server with a user account .
( you can get the sql server tool kit from msdn )

Create the new db local on your pc and use dts to import the data from
your work db/client

Just make sure before you leave that you take a user.pass login that is
valid :)
And the ipaddress etc -

( that goes with outsaying that the db isn’t protected by routing .. ie
only the webserver ip canconnect to the sql server _)

Subject: [ cf-dev ] OT SQL 2000 Database copy

Please forgive the ignorance but I have never done this before.

I need to copy a database on SQL2000 so that I can burn it on to CD and
put
it on my server at home.
How do I do this?

Do I need to copy lots of files or will Enterprise Manager make it nice
&
easy for me ?

Regards - Paul
