Hi, I'm using cfhttp to pull back sets of results from a search engine. I'm looking into whether I need to use a named lock with this. Ben Forta's article about locking just mentions you should use a lock on cfhttp if connecting to a site which doesn't allow concurrent connections. Our search engine does, and I would have thought that queueing each search request would dramatically slow the search down.
