are you not forcing them to log in if their IP is within an acceptable
range?

Subject: Re: [ cf-dev ] IIS question

Hmm been playing around with this now back from Friday pub.......

As mentioned before I need to allow access to so that reports can only be
seen by the school that they apply to.

So if I lock the directory in IIS to allow IP address ranges (which is
cool) I need some way then of saying ok your ip address is not in the list
(IIS throws 403.6)
So CFMX needs to trap the error and then force the user to login (becuase
you could be a school adviser who needs access to the data or a head
teacher trying to access the data from home). The login page will need to
be outside of the directory locked down or 403 error is generated (infact
maybe this wont work because of the lock down) and then CFMX will need to
go back with an acceptable IP address or something.....

Ok this is too techy for my simple brain...... How can I do this......?
