Sandeep
Thank you v.v.much - it worked - email and attachment got sent perfectly
after CF restart
Can I just ask everyone if they use a scheduled restart of CF on a
daily/weekly basis for example? and what benefits would this have exactly?
thanks everyone else for their suggestions - i can stop pulling hair out now

I remember we encountered a similar problem when sending email with
attachment....
Could not find a solution and finally restarted the cf service and seemed to
solve the problem...we are on cf5

no i have tried existing files, hardcoding the path to the file, empty files
- they all generate this message but as soon as i remove the <cfmailparam>
tag the error doesn't occur (but i don't get the attach obviously)
