Hi Kola,

I believe the process of installing them on the same machine is the
same...its just that Macromedia have renamed the "standalone" version of 6.1
to "Server Configuaration". The Step which asked if you want the server
installs to co-exist has been moved up a few steps.

As long as you have ColdFusion 5.0 installed pre-6.1 then you should be able
to simply start the install, select "Server Configuration" and the select
co-exist at a later stage.

The result would be the standard ColdFusion 5.0 running off IIS (or your
chosen webserver) and 6.1 running off the CF port of 8500.

Subject: [ cf-dev ] CFMX 6.1 and CF5 on the same machine

Hi

Is anyone running CFMX 6.1 and 5 on the same machine? Is this still
possible? Any pointers to getting them working on the same machine in
harmony would be appreciated.

Thanks

Kola
