Windows servers do not do pop3 only SMTP, unless this changed in windows2003. Have u installed the FTP service, it should show up in the IIS MMC if you have.

For SSL there is a wizard, go into the security menu for the site you want to add to and there should be an option for adding an SSL cert, and it will ask you to generate a CSR which u need to then send to your SSL provider. Then you get back a key, go back into the security setitngs, and add the key to the certificate request. SSL sites need to be on a dedicated IP adddress, you cannot share the same IP as other sites. Or you need to put them on a dedicated port, 443 is the default use dwhen you type https, if you use another one, you must specify on the URL.
