I use dreamweaver MX v6.0 (I think its the one before the new one) I use it with RDS and it takes 5 secs or so to save a page.
Its absolutely crap in that respect. CF Studio is far better. Does exactly what it says on the tin. However, if you are using other macromedia products then DMWX come sinto its own and I think you can put up with the GET PUT crap as indeed I have. I think if you are just coding CF then studio is the business. I still use 4.5 when I just need to edit CF code. Our crappy site is built on Frontpage / CF4.5 / CF MX with flashy bits and all sorts of other bits and bobs designed to irritate the hell out of developers. My two pence worth - Coldfusion only = Studio Other trashy bits = CFMX (and put up with it) Oh BTW there are lots of setting to play around with in the advanced tab (caching, testing serve, cloaking etc....)
