not this exactly but here's a few tips. 1) set the testing server up to be the same as the remote server as well 2) check your internet options (in the browser) to make sure you're getting the latest page.
yes, we've had problems with sessions/cookies like this. we're also having a hideous time with DW almost killing the CF server as it asks (via RDS) pulling database/table schema and then locking up. hope this helps cheers barry.b -----Original Message----- From: Julian Tedstone [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, 23 October 2003 7:56 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [ cf-dev ] DWMX problem Hi all I'm trying to connect to a remote server using RDS on DreamweaverMX. I've set the connection to check in/out and also unchecked the Enable Cache option. However, DWMX persists in pulling files from my local cache instead of retrieving a fresh version for the remote server each time (even though I'm browsing the remote server!). This wouldn't be a problem if I were the only person accessing this server, but there are two of us and we can't be sure whether we are editing the actual file on the server or our local cache. We also get a message on connecting saying that Dreamweaver can't determine the time of the remote server - synchronise and select newer options will not be available. Has anybody experienced this before?
