My questions ..

1) What reg settings do I need give the acount permissions
2) What directories does the account need access to?
3) Any other issues???

Changing the account via service panel is easy, just trying to predict any
oddness as a result.

How do you mean?  Via Windows?  Its fairly straight forward, much the same
way it is for any other application via the Services Panel.
