MSSEARCH isn't crap Stephen, it's actually quite good. In my tests it is operating faster than verity. I have indexed over 20million records with the FULL-TEXT Search and am getitng results back in seconds. The only problem is the time to create the flippin catalog.

CFMX std can only index/search 125000 documents/records, CFMX Ent can cope with 250000 documents/records. I believe that is total, not per collection. I don't believe there are restrictions on the number of records returned in a search (other than as I've just mentioned). In terms of a price for Verity K2 you're probably at some where between 20 to 50k.
