afaik this won't be possible, as cfslider is a Java applet, not javascript.

I can retrieve the value easily enough, it's just that I want to be able to update another part of the page (using javascript) without having to hit a button or anything. Example: Slider slides from 0 to 100 I want to display a text box with that number in every time the slider is moved (not every time I submit the form or hit a button). Any ideas? Paul PS I am not certain it is possible. Although the slider updates a hidden javascript input box, it doesn't send an event when doing "onchange"... ----------------------------------- Paul Johnston PJ Net Solutions Ltd http://www.pjnetsolutions.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] +44 (0)7866 573013 -- ** Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/dev%40lists.cfdeveloper.co.uk/ To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For human help, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- ** Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/dev%40lists.cfdeveloper.co.uk/ To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For human help, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
