Yeah, might be the writing of client vars / client store to the DB (last
visit etc information)

CLIENT/SESSION variables maybe? Althought I think CF doesn't write to

I have been doing some testing of an application and checking the
database load that it is putting on my server.  I have counted in the
debugging 9 queries that are called by every page (and are to be
optimised).  However, I am receiving a load of 40+ DB hits for each page
request.  I do have a bunch of Query of queries, but it's not another 30
on the page.

Anyone know why my db hit is so high?  I am doing cfapplication, so that
will account for part of it, but that should only be 1 or 2 hits
shouldn't it?
