Yeah I know exactly where you're coming from because that's exactly how I would do it if I was starting from scratch. Unfortunately though the DB is from the client and that's the way they want it left.
Total nightmare to search the records etc. Especially with the fact this is my first CF project but I'm sure it's all good as learning curve :) -----Original Message----- From: Snake Hollywood [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 15 January 2004 14:15 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [ cf-dev ] NEWBIE - Dividing a string by a particular charact er Having different prices and dates for one product doesn't matter, that's why you have relationships. E.g Ptoducts table productID productDescription FaresTable FareID Price ProductID Tdate So in your Farestable, you can have multiple fares/dates for one product, as they are linked by the productID Russ Michaels Macromedia/Allaire Certified ColdFusion Developer CFDeveloper The free resource and community for ColdFusion developer. http://www.cfdeveloper.co.uk Join the CFDeveloper discussion lists.
