What you're doing there is looking for two numbers together.  For
example "nisognrs34afd" would pass but "ad9gdag9mg4" wouldn't.

Try this instead:

[[:digit:]][^[:digit:]]*[[:digit:]]

Breakdown: look for one digit ( [[:digit:]] ) followed by zero or more
non-numeric values ( [^[:digit:]]* ) followed by another digit.
