If interested:

CFMX 6.1 now includes a "Return Timestamps as Strings" option on
datasources. Use of that option causes CFMX 6.1 to handle timestamps
(a.k.a. date/time values) differently than they were handled by CFMX 6.0.
When the option is not used, timestamps are still handled as they were in
CFMX 6.0. Unfortunately, when CFMX 6.0 is upgraded to CFMX 6.1, the "Return
Timestamps as Strings" option is automatically selected on all pre-existing
datasources. Thus, if you want your datasources to behave in CFMX 6.1 as
they did in CFMX 6.0, you need to use the CF Administrator to modify your
datasources to not use the "Return Timestamps as Strings" option.

best regards
