Hi, We are using CFMX6.1 on Windows 2000. database is SQL Server 2000. We had changed to Microsoft SQL Server JDBC Drivers as we thought they would be better and more reliable connections than macromedia provided one. However we have been experiencing more frequent cf crashes and the stack trace shows lots of obj-skimmer threads on wait. I have been through the cf known issues list and seen that there is an issue with the skimmer thread that keeps database connections locked. There is a hotfix available for it as well on the mm site. We have applied it But since we are experiencing this problem a lot more after ms sql jdbc driver is it better to use the macromedia provided drivers rather than microsoft with cfmx along with hotfix?
