Are you using the Oracle ODBC driver (i.e. downloaded from Oracle)? We use 
this on Win2k with CF5 and have no problem with CLOBs (with cfsqltype set 
to cf_sql_longvarchar). If you are using something else, it's possible that 
a quick download from Oracle will provide a temporary solution to the 
problem. You should really aim to implement a JDBC solution tho, as using 
the JDBC-ODBC bridge does result in a performance hit.
