[ cf-dev ] cfcontent limitations, performance issues?

I may need to track downloads of files that are up to a few megs in size. 
Does anyone know if cfcontent barfs at a certain file size?

I'm also interested in knowing about potential performance issues before I 
use cfcontent (if there are any, I'll do it another way). Anyone know if 
cfcontent reads files in small chunks (e.g. 32KB), flushing the chunks to 
the client as each one is read, or does it just read the whole file into 
memory and then send the lot to the client in one go.

I'm currently using CF5, but need to know how things work in CFMX too.
