Dear john, im not sure, but i think that may be the problem, i am a complete beginner in cf, im refering to a tutorial http://tutorial8.easycfm.com/, and i have tried to follow everything written in there but it doesnt seem to work

Is the query showing any records returned in the debug output? That's
probably where the problem is if nothing is being displayed,
