some versions of Internet Explorer don't interpret the content-disposition
header correctly

there's more info at support.microsoft.com and msdn.microsoft.com

Will IE still try and download the file with the content type set to
application/octet-stream and content disposition type set as inline?
There's a workaround for you if it does.
