Paul If you want this to work reliably across all browsers you might be best off doing the test in CF and asking these questions on a second page if necessary.
The alternative is to put an onChange event on the SELECT field which sets the display property of the DFESNo & Phase fields' style, having initialised it to "none", or, more reliably, sets its visibility property to "visible", having initialised it to "hidden".
