Hi Richard,   I used to use a lot of reference books with CF4 – CF5 but when MX came along, I found that new ideas, best practices and technologies were moving too fast to merit spending money on books. I now use the Macromedia online documentation http://livedocs.macromedia.com/ and Sean Corfields’ coding standards - http://livedocs.macromedia.com/wtg/public/coding_standards/index.html for all my reference. I sat the CFMX exam about a year ago, and got through it by simply reading the live docs.
