Have you installed all the update sand patches. There are some fixes for CPU and memory usage.

Subject: [ cf-dev ] CFSERVER.EXE memory usage

We are still having continued stability problems with our web/CF servers.

NT Task Manager shows that the Mem Usage by cfserver.exe grows continuously. If i restart CF it starts quite low at around 50,000K but as I speak it is up to 647,000K and is growing continuously. This is by far the most memory intensive service running with the next highest being 39,976K (ntConsoleJava.exe)

When I have logged on when there are problems cfserver.exe is up to about 900,000K.

Is this normal behaviour to see this continual memory usage increase? If no, could this point to memory leaks with Access DBs - but I wouldn't have thought that would shoe up as cfserver.exe consuming more memory?
