I find the process simpler and quicker with them too.  And they seem to have pretty good free support

we get certificates from Geotrust (via OpenSRS), who're cheaper than Thawte and Verisign. there's quite a few cheap certificate authorities; see also:

i always the process to be overly time-consuming, although that's probably because i don't have to do it that often.  last one i setup only took me about half an hour total all in.  make sure your admin contact details are correct for your domain first.

I've never set one of these up and was just wondering how difficult it
is and how much it costs for the secure certificate.

About all I know is that you need a unique IP for each domain name.
