OLE DB you mean? Is OLA the Spanish name for it?

My colleague is trying to connect to a database using an OLADB
connection without going through CF Administrator? He asked me to find
out if anyone knows how to do this?
He's calling a stored proc, and is trying to use the db connection
string, but it's deprecated for CFMX.
Any help much appreciated.
